In a close game it was the Langley Farm Team 4, the Caracas Leones 2 at the
ballpark.
Caracas never recovered after Langley took the lead in the bottom of the 4th
inning scoring one runner utilizing 3 base hits. Cristian Guzman laced a
one-base hit. Jay Payton came next and he grounded into a double play.
Jolbert Cabrera then was hit by a pitch. Raul Ibanez was up next and he
slapped a base-hit. Toby Hall stepped into the box and stroked a single
scoring the run. Caracas went down quietly in the 9th.
The win was credited to Brad Radke(5-6) who went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 2
runs. Radke got help from Eddie Guardado who earned his 8th save. Johan
Santana(11-4) was tagged with the loss. He served up 3 homeruns in his 6 and
2/3 innings.
